FRIDAY JANUARY 8th, 2010

JAZZ & JAVA at the VILLAGE BAKERY Lawrenceville, NJ

Stringzville with special appearance by Dusty Flour and the Hot Buns!

Who can say it better than our own Baker Boy, MandoBo:

"This coming Friday, Jan 8th, we will be featuring the acoustic string jazz sounds of Stringzville (www.stringzville.com). Comprised of Weehawken resident Kathy "Red" Ridl on double bass, Rutherford resident Adam Krass on fiddle, Hopewell residents Mark Hill and Dennis O'Neal on guitars, and yours truly on mandolin, Stringzville performs a mix of jazz standards and bossa nova that's sure to warm anyone's heart on a cold winter night (then again, a shot of scotch will do the same thing).

But wait! There's more!

Not to ruin the night for any jazzers planning on attending Friday nite's performance, but there's a rumor going around that maybe -- JUST maybe -- Stringzville's country music alter ego, Dusty Flour & The Hot Buns, MIGHT make a brief appearance for a song or two at the end of the evening! (Truth is, Red's been hounding us to do this, so the boyz are finally going for it as a birthday gift to her.)"

Peace & Chicken Grease,
Bo
